Welcome to Bosch. Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader for our Software Engineering department in Guadalajara, Mexico. As a Team Leader SW Engineering, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation, managing project deliverables, and mentoring a talented team of software engineers. Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment Implement and maintain best practices in software engineering, including code reviews and quality assurance processes Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance team productivity and product quality Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes Facilitate effective communication between team members and across departments Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge Implement team competency roadmap with mentorship and support to enhance skills and achieve goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of successful project deliveries 2+ years of team leadership or management experience in a software development environment Experience in complete project lifecycle from requirement to release Knowledge on system integration and Electrical & Electronic (E/E) Architecture Charging System Architecture( AC, DC charging) Customer Technical Design Discussion, requirements, defect & root cause analysis, CR discussion Functional Safety & Compliance Knowhow on system & SW level faults Tools & Software Knowledge -> CAN OE, CAN analyzer, INCA, Vflash, UDE -> Embedded C programming knowledge -> ASW development -> DOORS Testing & Validation knowhow -> HIL (Hardware In Loop) test ASPICE-process and knowhow Knowledge of electric drivetrains and battery systems preferred added advantage Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C, C++, or Python Proficiency in software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum Experience with version control systems, preferably Git Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Strong analytical and decision-making abilities Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve high-performance standards Experience with project management tools and techniques Experience with Agile Methodologies Relevant certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master are a plus Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are highly desirable for this role in Guadalajara Proficient Stakeholder Management skills Strong leadership and team coordination Strong technical foundation Good communication and reporting skills Ownership mindset Additional Information Position requires time flexibility to work with Americas and India time zones.
