DESIRED COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS
· Seven (7) years of mechanical/electrical maintenance planning experience with fixed plant and mobile Deisel Gensets with intergraded solar, wind, and BESS. Additional experience with residual heat capture systems is an asset;
· Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering;
· A project management professional (PMP) designation; and
· Demonstrated proficiency in SAP CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Develop and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability;
· Analyze and optimize maintenance processes using SAP CMMS, focusing on reliability-centered maintenance to meet KPIs and budget targets;
· Plan and oversee short- and long-term maintenance activities, including major equipment overhauls;
· Review, scope, and plan work requests, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure efficient work order completion;
· Coordinate with purchasing and warehousing teams to maintain adequate spare parts and supplies inventory level;
· Create and maintain accurate documentation, including drawings, manuals, and Bills of Materials (BOM);
· Work with trades leads to develop detailed job breakdowns and work instructions for consistent, safe, and effective execution;
· Prepare reports and maintain databases to track maintenance KPIs, costs, and trends;
· Continuously review and refine maintenance strategies based on data analysis and feedback;
· Respond to unplanned shutdowns by swiftly mobilizing resources and demonstrating advanced troubleshooting skills;
· Schedule and lead weekly maintenance meetings and pre-and post-shutdown sessions;
· Uphold the health, safety, and environmental policies of B2Gold, ensuring all maintenance activities comply with regulations, codes, and site standards; and
· Actively participate in plant shutdowns to identify process improvement opportunities.
