At LCRA, we are seeking a Power Plant Operator for our new reciprocating internal combustion engines in Maxwell, TX! These RICE machines are peaking power generation to the Texas grid to provide power and reliability to fellow Texans. This role involves supporting 24/7 maintenance and operations at the Timmerman Power plant in collaboration with a dedicated professional team. You will be trusted to: - Monitor and operate all plant equipment according to operations guidelines and specifications. - Isolate and tag out equipment for maintenance. - Complete and submit accurate logs and workorders. - Perform unit walk downs (makes rounds) to monitor operating equipment. - Perform scheduled maintenance and basic repairs on plant equipment and systems.
