TASK DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the OIC, Technical Training Schools, the Power Plant and Propulsion Maintenance Instructor will provide Power Plant and Propulsion Maintenance Management instruction to the KAF and Contractor personnel to include the following areas: 1. Basic aircraft Power Plants Propulsion fundamentals 2. Basic Aviation Power Plants Propulsion Course 3. Aviation Power Plants Propulsion troubleshooting 4. Required Power Plants Propulsion Technical Publications 5. Basic corrosion control 6. Other related Maintenance courses requested by the KAF.   The Incumbent will provide this service to KAF personnel. In addition to formal classroom instruction, the incumbent will perform site audits as requested by the Technical Control Branch which may be followed by extra instruction, OJT, or advice to the KAF or Maintenance practice in line with KAMP 4790.2 Series guidelines.   TASK REQUIREMENTS: 1. Develop, implement, and teach Aviation Power Plants Propulsion Maintenance courses to KAF personnel as required. 2. Provide Aviation Power Plants Propulsion Maintenance OJT as required by the KAF. 3. Provide assistance to other departments as related to Aviation Power Plants Propulsion Maintenance.   MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience as an Aviation Power Plants Propulsion technician involving military aircraft. 2. Advanced technical background in military aircraft maintenance to include Power Plants Propulsion system operation, servicing, and recurring inspection requirements. 3. Hands-on experience in the planning of periodic maintenance requirements to include criteria, procedures, and associated documentation. 4. Proven experience as a technical instructor with qualifications in Methods of Instruction. 5. Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson plan design are required to adapt courses to KAF training. 6. Proficient in the use of personal computer word processing programs. 7.
