Description
SAIC is searching for a Power Platform Administrator to join our team in Washington D.C. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and maintenance of our Microsoft Power Platform applications. Key responsibilities Administer and manage all components of the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI, through the centralized Power Platform admin center. Implement and enforce governance policies to control data access, manage security, and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Oversee the deployment lifecycle of applications, manage environments, and ensure proper licensing structures are in place. Monitor platform usage, dataset refresh schedules, and report performance metrics to optimize resource allocation and ensure optimal performance. Provide support to users, cultivate the user community, and deliver training to help them utilize the platform effectively. Coordinate the integration of Power Platform components and leverage tools like PowerShell to automate management tasks. Lead governance efforts for AI features, such as Copilot Studio, to ensure responsible use and promote innovation. Generate reports on platform usage, adoption, and performance to provide actionable insights to leadership. Required skills and experience Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of progressive IT experience. US Citizen must be able to obtain a public trust clearance Proficiency with the Power Platform admin center, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and environments. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services like Azure AD and Exchange is often required. Experience with administration, security, and governance of low-code platforms and a proven ability to manage deployments and monitor performance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and support users. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with scripting (like PowerShell), and some familiarity with pro-code technologies like C#, .NET, JavaScript, or SQL can be beneficial. Familiarity with cloud environments and networking fundamentals is often necessary.
