THL Gourmet Foods Inc. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently looking for a Contract Power Platform Developer to join our IT team in our BC or ON office.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To revamp the existing Sales Tools Power Apps for enhancing sales representative’s user experience and productivity with the following deliverables.

• Fully redesigned Sales Tool Power App ready for production.
• Optimized Dataverse structure with clean integrations to D365 F&O.
• Documentation and knowledge transfer to internal team

REQUIREMENTS / MUST-HAVES:

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Strong experience in Dataverse architecture and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with D365 Finance & Operations integration using Power Platform, OData.
• Knowledge of Power Fx, Canvas Apps, and Model-Driven Apps
• Strong understanding of security roles, permissions, and environment management in Power Platform.
• Experience with troubleshooting performance issues and optimizing app usability.
• Familiarity with SSIS or KingswaySoft is a plus.

5. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Document system architecture, integration flows, and user manuals.
• Provide knowledge transfer and handover to the internal IT team before contract completion

1. Power App Redesign & Development

• Rebuild the existing Sales Tool Power App with a modern, user-friendly, and efficient design.
• Reduce the number of clicks and simplify workflows for end users.
• Ensure responsive design and compatibility across desktop and mobile devices.

1. Dataverse & Data Architecture

• Review current Dataverse setup and recommend optimized architecture for performance and scalability
• Rebuild or redesign Dataverse tables/entities if needed.
• Ensure proper data security, access control, and governance.

1. D365 F&O Integration

• Re-establish and optimize data connections between Dataverse and D365 F&O.
• Implement real-time or near real-time synchronization where required.
• Collaborate with the ERP team to ensure data consistency and error handling.

1. Performance & Testing

• Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing to validate usability and performance.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in Power App and Dataverse workflows.

1. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Document system architecture, integration flows, and user manuals.
• Provide knowledge transfer and handover to the internal IT team before contract completion.
