Description:
HyerTek is seeking a highly capable Power Platform Developer to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, and Power BI. This role is ideal for someone who excels in building low-code solutions for workflow automation, document management, and role-based access control across structured and unstructured data environments.

The ideal candidate is experienced in delivering complex, multi-role applications that integrate with enterprise M365 environments and support high user concurrency, strong auditability, and flexible process automation.

  • The candidate must be local to the Washington DC area.

Requirements:

  • Architect and develop Canvas-based and Model-Driven Power Apps with role-driven interfaces and secure document workflows
  • Build and maintain Power Automate flows for file ingestion, status tracking, automated notifications, and lifecycle workflows
  • Design and manage SharePoint Online data models, including custom lists, document libraries, metadata tagging, and permissions
  • Create and publish Power BI dashboards that visualize user activity, document processing, and workflow metrics
  • Implement and maintain role-based access controls using Microsoft 365 group security models
  • Develop logic for dynamic form generation, document upload, and validation within structured workflows
  • Apply best practices for data retention, audit logging, and version control using M365-native tools
  • Package, version, and deploy Power Platform components across environments
  • Collaborate with analysts, testers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into low-code deliverables
  • Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting and support for production applications as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deploy complex Canvas Apps with multiple user roles and personas
  • Proficient in developing automated workflows using Power Automate, including file parsing, routing logic, and conditional actions
  • Solid experience with SharePoint Online, including list/library structure, views, permissions, and JSON formatting
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and UI/UX principles for low-code platforms
  • Experience designing secure, scalable systems that support document routing, tracking, and communication
  • Familiarity with application lifecycle management (ALM) for Power Platform (solutions, environments, connectors)
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical delivery in agile or milestone-driven settings
