Job Summary:
Skill: Power Platform Developer
Hours: 1,920, Hybrid (assumption is mostly remote, but with ability to be on-site in Baltimore MD.
Clearance Required: DHS USCG Public Trust

We are looking to add a full-time Power Platform Developer to our team.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• MS/MA or 10+ years demonstrated performance in related technology.
• Experienced in one or more of the following topics such as cloud technologies, data and AI, security, complex networks, IAAS, PAAS, SAAS, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems and business applications design and implementation.
• This individual will have been trained in product futures, and relevant Certified Training associated with Microsoft’s products.

• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to create, assemble and deliver client-ready documentation, deliverables, and executive-level presentations
• Current holder of, or ability to obtain, DHS Fitness Determination

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works to support the Delivery Executive and/or Project Manager. Enable development, analysis, deployment, and/or solution to remain on schedule and in line with the current capabilities and future directions.
1. Understand Data Model: The developer should be able to understand and work with the Common Data Service, which is the underlying data platform for model-driven apps. This includes creating and managing entities, fields, and relationships.
2. Create and Customize Forms: They should be able to create forms for entities and customize them according to the needs of the app. This includes understanding different types of form components and how to use them effectively.
3. Create and Customize Views: The developer should be able to create and customize views to display data in a meaningful way. This includes understanding how to filter and sort data in views.
4. Create Basic Canvas Apps: The developer should be able to create a basic Canvas App from scratch or using data from an existing data source. This includes understanding the user interface, controls, and screen navigation.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in delivering technical presentations to customer staff
• Design and write code as required for selected customer systems
• Assist in infrastructure design and deployment activities
• Develop documentation on selected customer systems and objectives
• Directly involved in the hands-on implementation of customer systems
• Work with Project Manager and Team Members to support technical strategy and control objectives
