Description

This is a Melbourne-based role with ProcessPath, a sister business of JourneyOne.
As a Power Platform Technical / Functional Consultant, you’ll be working closely with clients to understand their needs, designing human-centred solutions, and leading the delivery of apps, automations, and insights using tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. You’ll help organisations embrace digital transformation – from ideation to implementation – with governance, scalability, and business value at the core.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to define business problems and translate them into functional and technical designs
  • Build and configure solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite
  • Facilitate workshops and demos to engage stakeholders and gather feedback
  • Establish strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across business and IT, ensuring alignment, transparency, and buy-in throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work closely with delivery leads, designers, and developers to ensure quality outcomes
  • Support client upskilling and adoption through training and documentation
  • Contribute to solution governance, standards, and patterns across client environments
  • Stay on the pulse of new Power Platform features and trends

REQUIREMENTS

5+ Years of consulting experience, including:

  • Experience in technical or functional consulting with Microsoft Power Platform
  • Strong understanding of business processes, and ability to map and improve them
  • Ability to elicit requirements and turn them into effective user stories or designs
  • Solid knowledge of Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and ideally Power BI
  • Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, or Microsoft 365 integration
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A growth mindset, and a natural curiosity for solving problems with technology

Desirable

  • Business consulting and SCRUM master exposure
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 (particularly Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service modules)
  • Familiarity with solution architecture and Power Platform governance best practices
  • Exposure to Azure services, custom connectors, or integration with external systems
  • Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform or Dynamics 365

Additional Information

  • A successful candidate must be based in Melbourne and hold full working rights for Melbourne.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to mentor and participate in training events — so start thinking about the best insights you have to share!
  • You might be a Microsoft MVP already, but if not, we can help you to work towards that.
