EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience of working in sales, preferably in the healthcare sector
  • Experience of the electrical industry and knowledge of basic power system principles would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven track record of delivering stretch sales targets
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the East region on the UK.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer looking for an opportunity to join our expanding team in the East of the UK. As the Power Sales Manager for the East, you will take ownership of our existing sales pipeline within the region and develop future business in line with budgeted volume and profit targets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships and securing sales for our electrical power products, which are designed to enhance electrical safety and reliability, with both existing and new customers.
The role involves working alongside a Clinical Sales Manager and Account Manager to establish and deliver a regional plan, ensuring we continue to provide exceptional service to our customers while achieving profitable sales of Bender products.
This is a technical sales role that requires a desire to develop a detailed knowledge of our products and how they meet our customers’ needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve budgeted volumes and margins for Bender UK’s electrical safety products, including insulation monitoring devices, residual current monitors, and medical power supplies
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts within the healthcare sector, ensuring alignment with annual targets.
  • Develop new accounts within the healthcare sector, meeting annual targets for sales
  • Maintain accurate account files within the CRM system and manage administrative tasks effectively within deadlines.
  • Manage and report on an ongoing sales pipeline via the CRM system, identifying and communicating any risks or new opportunities.
  • Conduct regular analysis of competitor activity within the healthcare sector and report findings to the business.
  • Stay informed about all relevant legislation and be aware of any legislation that could impact the organisation positively or negatively.
  • Regularly network and attend trade shows to develop a new business pipeline for Bender UK’s healthcare solutions.
  • Create profitable quotations, ensuring net profit targets are met.
  • Proactively manage and continually evaluate all account activities, providing options, recommendations, and solutions to potential issues and opportunities.
  • Maintain close communication with other functions to ensure the smooth implementation of all equipment and provide excellent customer service to healthcare clients.
