Description Power Shop Counter Associate FT Uxbridge, MA Power Shop Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Occasional Saturdays as Needed About the Role Koopman Lumber is hiring a full-time Power Shop Counter Associate to support daily operations within our Power Shop department. This position is responsible for taking care of customers in the Power Shop by helping recommend equipment and tools, organizing parts within the shop, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations. Training will be provided for equipment recommendations and product knowledge. What You’ll Do • Assist customers with questions, equipment, and product recommendations • Process customer transactions and service paperwork • Receive and document equipment brought in for repair or maintenance • Organize parts, tools, and equipment within the shop • Communicate with customers regarding service updates and equipment availability • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area • Work closely with technicians and store teams to support daily operations Requirements What You Bring • Strong customer service and communication skills • Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems • Organized, dependable, and team-oriented • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Willingness to learn about tools and equipment Preferred Qualifications • Previous retail, customer service, or construction supply experience • Familiarity with power tools, equipment, or small engines Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
Responsibilities
