What You’ll Do
- Sell generator maintenance programs, rentals, and new & used equipment to commercial & industrial clients
- Build new business while supporting existing customers
- Work with our technical team to create site assessments & right-size solutions
- Manage your sales pipeline from prospecting to closing deals
- Stay up-to-date on industry codes (CSA 282-15, NFPA-25) & educate customers on standards
What We’re Looking For
- A self-starter who thrives on hunting new business, meeting quotas, and closing deals
- 3+ years of sales experience (industrial equipment, power generation, or technical fields preferred)
- Mechanical or electrical knowledge is a plus
- Strong communication, relationship building & negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-driven
- Valid, clean driver’s license & willingness to travel
- Experience with or interest in social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) is an asset — especially for sharing project wins, promoting brand visibility, or engaging with the industry online
- This is a team-driven, on-site role — Gentech does not offer work from home options.
