Every day is an opportunity to make a real difference, accelerating the progress of sustainable GB energy, keeping people connected and society thriving as we create a brighter tomorrow.
We are looking for x2 Restoration Engineers to be part of the growing Resilience and Emergency Management Directorate. This exciting opportunity will allow the post holder to understand and assess the most significant risks to the energy system, and work with Government and industry to mitigate them.
As a Restoration Engineer (L6) you will be providing assurance of the NESO’s Electricity System Restoration (ESR) capability and creating the strategic direction for system restoration following a partial or total shutdown. You will also be liaising with multiple parties across the industry to develop and validate restoration strategies and plans to be enacted at times of extreme system distress.
This role can be based from Wokingham or Warwick, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home. We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.
