This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Power Systems Engineering Manager, the Power Systems Engineer contributes as an active member of the Power Systems Engineering team capable of carrying out needed engineering initiatives, with emphasis on learning about product development, engineering processes, product design, Envision Economy and ustaining engineering.
A good systems engineer is able to draw from a broad knowledge base and personal experience to take a “holistic” and “concurrent-engineering” approach to product system design. A systems engineer addresses all stakeholder requirements early in the design and is able to anticipate and plan for expected challenges throughout the process. The successful candidate has appropriate experience interfacing with customers, sales and marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, quality department and field installation, technical support and problem resolution.
