The Role: Power System Tendering Team Leader This position is for future opportunities with Schneider. We are actively recruiting and interviewing for future positions in Field Services to help us unlock further commercial value for our business. What will you do? Managing a team of Tendering Engineers Leading and participating actively in winning small to large project sales Analyzes reasonably complex RFQs (Request For Quotation) within core business and with few unreleased contents Developing and leading tender reviews and approvals Converting ‘cold’ pipeline to ‘warm’ closures strategically; meet or exceed hit rates by developing a competitive value package successfully Evaluating Tender Specification and develop customers’ requests into a Schneider Electric’s offer by proposing solutions that comply with the customers’ requirements in the most cost-effective manner Reviewing of contracts and legal terms with customers Providing timely and accurate quotations as requested by Sales and stakeholders Supporting Sales team by participating in clarification (if required) Liaising with Internal Product Manager and/ or External Suppliers’ for 3rd party products (if required). Prepares costing as per processes and tools. Prepares offer documentation consistent with Delegation of Authority, and validation in bFO. Performs advanced risk analysis. Drafts mono-BU / moderate size / complexity tenders (Cat-A/B). Supports the Opportunity Leader during customer negotiations and closing of the deal Who would be successful? Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Experience of dealing with simple / complex tenders Knowledge Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions Knowledge in MS Office applications Power Systems products Personal / Team skills Keen to learn and develop Team player, willing to give additional input as and when required to meet customer-based deadlines Good interpersonal skills Able to develop effective working relationship with sales teams and internal/external supply network Flexible in the face of conflicting priorities Communication & organizational skills Attention to detail What’s in it for me?
