Description We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined team member to support the assembly, maintenance, and mechanical systems integration of our boats. This role involves hands-on mechanical work, daily operational tasks, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues during the build process, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with tools and mechanical components, collaborates well with others, can work independently when needed, and communicates effectively with Customer Support regarding project status and timelines. Candidates must be able to follow detailed instructions, maintain professionalism, and contribute positively to our team culture. Requirements DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in developing, measuring, and meeting/exceeding mechanical build standards and project timelines. Perform routine mechanical maintenance, assembly tasks, and shop duties required for the daily operation of the facility. Install, adjust, and service mechanical components and systems throughout the boat-building process. Communicate progress, mechanical findings, and scheduling updates to Customer Support. Request tools, mechanical parts, supplies, and materials needed to complete projects and help maintain inventory. Perform mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving during assembly and testing. Follow all safety protocols and promptly report any hazards or concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped work area. Perform additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Mechanically inclined with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible, courteous, and positive approach in all interactions. Demonstrates discretion, professionalism, and dependability. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal mechanical instructions. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate in a build environment. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on mechanical setting. Adaptable to changes in processes, tools, and project requirements.
