Description
Benefits: Competitive salary Flexible schedule Opportunity for advancement We're looking for a reliable Crew Lead to head up a two-person crew on daily residential and commercial power washing jobs across Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT. You'll be the point person on every job site. That means running the crew, interacting with clients, ensuring quality, and making sure each job gets done right. If you've got the work ethic, there's real room to grow here. We promote from within and reward people who perform. Responsibilities: Job Execution & Crew Leadership: Lead a two-person crew through a daily schedule of pre-booked jobs. Manage your junior technician on-site, delegate tasks, and ensure each job is completed to standard from setup to cleanup. Client Communication: You are the face of the company on-site. Greet customers, walk the job with them, make sure they're satisfied before you leave, and handle add-on requests using pricing guidelines provided by management. Collect payment, take before/after photos, and document completed work. Training: You're responsible for bringing your junior tech up to speed on proper technique, equipment handling, chemical safety, and client interaction. Set the tone for how the job gets done. Equipment Care & Troubleshooting: Power washing equipment breaks. Hoses blow, nozzles clog, pumps act up. We need someone mechanically inclined and resourceful enough to diagnose issues and fix them on the spot so the day doesn't grind to a halt. Perform daily checks and flag anything that needs shop-level repair. Quality Control & Safety: Proper chemical application, thorough rinsing, protection of landscaping and surfaces. Identify hazards before starting work. Leave every site better than you found it. Qualifications: Experience: Prior power washing experience is a plus but not required. We'll train you on technique. What matters most is dependability, strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to interact with customers professionally, and being someone who can problem solve and think on their feet. Experience in a hands-on trade (construction, landscaping, painting, detailing) is helpful but not a dealbreaker. Leadership: You don't need management experience on a resume, but you need to be the kind of person a newer tech can learn from. Patient, clear, leads by example. Mechanically Inclined: If something breaks mid-job you should be the type of person who opens it up and figures it out. Not the type who stands there waiting for someone to come fix it. Valid Driver's License: Required. Must be confident behind the wheel of a 16 ft box truck with trailer on residential streets, tight driveways, backing into job sites. Dependability: Shows up every day, on time, ready to go. Full stop. Physical Requirements: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather. Able to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work on roofs with confidence. Must be comfortable working at heights, including from a boom lift on commercial jobs. Experience operating a boom lift is a plus but not required. Benefits and Perks: Competitive pay commensurate with experience Company truck, tools, and equipment, nothing out of your pocket Performance-based bonuses Training and certification programs Promotion from within with room to grow into operations or crew management Variety of residential and commercial projects, no two days are the same If you take pride in your work, know how to keep a client happy, and want to lead a crew instead of just punching a clock, apply now.
Responsibilities
The Crew Lead will manage a two-person crew, executing daily residential and commercial power washing jobs from setup to cleanup while serving as the primary point of contact for clients on-site. Key duties include delegating tasks, ensuring quality standards are met, handling client interactions, and performing on-the-spot equipment troubleshooting.
