Data Analysis / Report Writer / PowerBI Developer
This is an ASAP contract position located in Austin Texas working with the State of Texas, that has a duration of approximately 1 year, with extensions.
Power BI developer builds complex dimensional data models, dashboards, and reports from the bottom up, visualizes compelling data stories on the report canvas, collaborates with other teams to engineer revolutionary agency-wide data solutions, develops and implements data visualization solutions.
4 or more years of Power BI experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Previous experience working with State Agencies is a requirement.
Using PowerBI, having a mastery in data analytics creating complex reports, creating dashboards and interactive visual report, create test and deploy PowerBI Scripts (Python and DAX), as well as execute efficient deep analysis, is required
Prior experience in data-related tasks is preferred but not required.
Prior experience with Source Control GIT/BitBucket preferred but not required.
Previous experience with SAS and its dataset, Jira, BI tools (SAP Tableau) is preferred but not required.
