At VIVO, data is at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Power BI Developer to join our Technology Team and help transform how we turn information into insight. This role is your opportunity to build meaningful solutions that make a real impact, creating reports and dashboards that empower our people to make smarter, faster decisions every day.
You’ll be the go-to person for reporting across the business, working closely with users to understand their needs and bring them to life through innovative data solutions. From developing robust, automated self-service dashboards to shaping data into clear, actionable insights, you’ll be at the forefront of enabling colleagues to harness the power of information. You’ll be working with the Microsoft BI stack, Power BI, SQL Server, and the latest tools including Fabric dataflows, Spark Notebooks, and Pipelines, designing solutions that are not just functional but also forward-thinking.
As part of the Technology Team, collaboration will be key. You’ll be liaising regularly with colleagues across the business to ensure reporting aligns with strategy, driving adoption of data tools, and supporting user training so that insights are not only delivered but used effectively. You’ll have a voice in project boards, the chance to chair scrums when required, and the freedom to contribute ideas that shape how VIVO evolves its data landscape.
This is a home based role, with an obligation to attend an in person meeting at our office in Birmingham on a monthly basis. Candidates can be based anywhere in England, but you must be able to get to Birmingham for the meeting every month.
