Description
Establish and submit program funding for supplemental IE purchased services. Provide Industrial Engineering support for New Program delivery. Support overall manufacturing launch processes and program reporting metrics (GPDS, 10 panel, program reviews, dashboards, GSPAS, etc.). Responsible for line labor planning to meet program demand (Lead for Machining and Assembly), report labor tracking status including WERS concerns, Q forms, and Off Standard Labor. Establish and implement global common practices for Industrial Engineering within ME including Labor PAT, HPU Target Setting, JPH and HPU Reporting, Workstation assessments. Support the Global IE Standards team to develop and update IE standards including training and quality documents listed below. Established and active employee resource groups Engineering degree (Master's preferred) Strong manufacturing engineering experience, minimum 10 years in managing teams on major projects. Understanding/experience of overall automotive processes (powertrain preferred) and manufacturing business acumen. Advanced knowledge of Manufacturing Planning and Cost Study process to lead programs from concept through to implementation Ability to think strategically and work with peer organizations within Ford to support Blue and Model e strategic plans Knowledge and practical experience with automotive manufacturing, engineering, production, and planning Flexible work locations (travel as required on frequent basis), depending on business needs.
