Edelman is seeking a Client Director to lead our Brand and Consumer practice, working with some of the world’s most recognisable and ambitious brands. This senior role is a unique opportunity to shape bold, culturally relevant campaigns that cut through the noise, inspire audiences, and build lasting trust.
As a Client Director, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership of high-profile accounts, guiding integrated campaigns across brand storytelling, consumer engagement, creative, social, influencer, and digital. You’ll be a trusted advisor to senior clients, leading with confidence, curiosity, and conviction.
We’re looking for someone with experience in brand, consumer, and integrated communications, with proven expertise in delivering world-class creative work that drives measurable impact. A natural leader, you will inspire high-performing teams, nurture client partnerships, and champion Edelman’s values of boldness, empathy, curiosity, and trust.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 15+ years’ experience in brand/consumer communications, marketing, or PR.
• Proven success leading large accounts and integrated campaigns.
• Strong track record in creative storytelling, influencer & digital strategy.
• Commercial acumen with experience managing multimillion-dollar accounts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to inspire, lead, and grow high-performing teams.
• Deep understanding of culture, consumer trends, and brand reputation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead strategic direction and delivery for major consumer and brand clients.
• Provide senior counsel and act as a trusted partner to C-suite stakeholders.
• Oversee the creation of innovative, insight-led, and integrated campaigns.
• Drive business growth through client development and new opportunities.
• Manage account profitability, budgets, and resourcing effectively.
• Mentor, inspire, and develop diverse teams across levels and disciplines.
• Represent Edelman externally, building networks across industry and media.
