Do you have a keen interest in public relations, communications, and marketing? If so, Lockheed Martin has an exciting opportunity for you!
We are looking for a PR, Communications, and Marketing Apprentice to join our dynamic team in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. This role is part of our 4xFlex working pattern, offering a 4-day workweek and a hybrid setup, typically with two days per week onsite.
Earn & Learn – Gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 4 Public Relations & Communications Assistant Apprenticeship Qualification.
Industry Recognition – Become an individual Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) member, boosting your professional credibility.

• Marketing Research
• Reputation Management
• PR Strategy
• Campaign Management

As our Apprentice you will gain on-the-job training at our Bedfordshire facility, together with formal external learning. You will also have the opportunity to undertake several Lockheed Martin Public Relations and Communications courses which will complement your external learning.
The onsite training will provide you with a multifaceted learning environment – you will be involved in various projects, with an opportunity, where appropriate, to lead specific projects as well.
Mentorship and guidance from Subject Matter Experts will be provided throughout your apprenticeship, with support to help develop skills and gain experience, enabling you to evidence your knowledge and learning.
As our apprentice you will gain hand-on experience in all disciplines of Communications, giving you the best possible start to a career in PR and Communications.

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 A Levels (Grade A* - C) in Business Studies, Economics, Psychology, English Language or a related subject or alternatively a Level 3 qualification in a business related subject
• GCSEs in Maths and English at 4+ (A - C)
• A desire to pursue a career in Marketing, PR and Communications
• Organised, able to plan an prioritise tasks
• Good verbal and written communication skills
