PR CONTENT MANAGER/COPYWRITER - FREELANCE OR PERM
Sauce Communications are seeking a Freelance or Permanent Content Manager/Copywriter to join their team on a permanent or freelance nature. This role can be part-time or full-time. We simply want what works for you and we’re happy to be flexible. This role would sit in our digital team but you could also be supporting the brands, restaurants or travel team depending on needs.
We have a wonderful flexible hybrid working pattern, amazing benefits operating from our Shepherds Bush office Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday with work from home Monday and Friday.
We’re seeking a member to join our team with good people skills, strong writing ability and a keen interest in and understanding of the media landscape, including digital and social.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Direct reporting to: Digital Account Director.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Exposure to working with brands, lux hotels and or restaurants.
- Enjoys getting stuck in and involved in strategic conversations but equally happy to do the less exciting work if required
- Previous Public Relations or similar industry experience
- Degree or proven experience in writing, journalism or similar.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging and persuasive copy for various platforms, including press releases, social media etc tailored to client needs and target audiences.
- Creation and input on social calendars - have a deep understanding of copywriting trends for social media to drive results
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, client brands, and target demographics to inform content strategies and enhance messaging effectiveness.
- Work closely with account managers, PR HOD and clients to ensure alignment on brand voice, messaging, and campaign objectives.
- Proof read, write, and edit copy for all pitch decks to ensure clarity of pitch & message
- Develop and write compelling copy for Key PR campaigns, including but not limited to new business development pitches, social media posts, digital ads, video copy and more
- Contribute to creative concepts for advertising campaigns across various platforms.
- Assist in proofreading team members’ copy as needed, promoting high quality and consistency across all content.
- Collaborate in the development of messaging strategies to enhance visibility and sales.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and directions for creative copy/pitches
- Thorough knowledge of target media, and sharing that knowledge with wider team
