ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is an innovative eCommerce startup preparing for a high-impact, nationwide launch across Canada. Built with a vision to disrupt the online shopping experience, the platform is tech-forward, customer-focused, and primed for growth. To support this expansion and drive investor interest, we are seeking a dynamic PR & Investor Relations Manager to lead external communications, build brand visibility, and help secure funding.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years in Investor Relations, Public Relations, or Communications—preferably in a startup, eCommerce, or tech environment.
• Proven track record of personally securing funding from investors, VCs, or institutional partners.
• Strong network within Canada’s startup, VC, and media ecosystems.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly strategic with the ability to craft messaging that resonates with both investors and the public.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a unique hybrid role combining strategic investor relations and public/media communications. You will act as the face of the company for both the investment community and the press. Your primary mission will be to develop and execute a communication strategy that attracts investors, fosters trust, and fuels funding rounds—while also managing brand image and media relationships across Canada.

  Pay: $150,000.00-$225,000.00 per year
