Enjoy working alongside our Chief Executive, in this varied and interesting role, with responsibility for David Nieper fashion PR and the Christopher Nieper Charitable Foundation & Education Trust. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record of successful media campaigns, gained at senior level. Use your PR experience to provide interesting news content, respond to all press enquiries, and manage media visits/events. Make a valuable contribution to promoting David Nieper ‘made in the UK’ fashion, as well as raising awareness of the charitable work of the Christopher Nieper Foundation & Education Trust.
Though based in Alfreton, on the edge of Peak District, in easy commuting distance of Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield, some working from home would be appropriate, as well as occasional travel to London. As a people centred, family business, the hours of work can be arranged to fit around personal commitments, although being present for media events, sometimes at short notice, is an essential requirement.
Articulate, outgoing, creative, and insightful - you will be capable of spotting PR opportunities instinctively and feel at home promoting a premium fashion brand. Awareness of sustainability and relevant current affairs would be an advantage. Ideally, you will have at least five years of experience in public relations, alongside a degree level education in English, journalism, or a related field.

Christopher Nieper Foundation is a charitable organisation aiming to lead the rejuvenation of Britain’s forgotten towns and influence Westminster by using Alfreton as an exemplar. The foundation has three guiding principles: Education, Opportunity and Community. Alfreton is a former mining town and like so many other towns in UK has suffered from lack of investment and opportunity.
