PR Manager (Korea) - Dreame Job Basic Information - Job Title: PR Manager (Korea) - Location: 92 Gwanmyn-ro, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea (On-site work required) - Department: Global Marketing & Communications - Reports To: Regional Marketing Director (APAC) - Employment Type: Full-time - Job Level: Manager Core Responsibilities - Develop and implement tailored PR strategies and action plans for Dreame's consumer electronics products (e.g., smart cleaning appliances, smart home devices) in the Korean market, ensuring alignment with global brand positioning and local market demands. - Establish and nurture long-term, strategic relationships with key stakeholders in Korea, including mainstream media (tech, lifestyle, FMCG, news), influential KOLs/YouTubers, industry associations, and partners to enhance brand visibility and reputation. - Plan, organize, and execute end-to-end PR events and campaigns in Korea, such as product launch conferences, media briefings, brand experience activities, and offline promotions, to drive brand awareness and product trial conversion. - Take charge of crisis communication management: proactively identify potential PR risks, develop contingency plans, respond to media inquiries and public concerns promptly and professionally, and safeguard the brand's image in the Korean market. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Digital Marketing, Local Operations) to align PR initiatives with product launch schedules, sales targets, and regional business objectives. - Monitor and analyze media coverage, social media trends, and competitor PR activities in the Korean market; compile regular PR performance reports and provide data-driven insights to optimize subsequent PR strategies. - Create and curate localized PR content (press releases, media kits, brand stories, case studies) that complies with Korean media preferences and resonates with local audiences, enhancing content dissemination effect. Requirements & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields. - 3+ years of proven PR working experience in FMCG or consumer electronics industry; candidates with experience in tech or smart home brand PR are highly preferred. - Native Korean speaker with fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal), capable of efficiently collaborating with global teams and communicating with international media. - Possess solid and extensive media resources in Korea, especially in tech, lifestyle, and FMCG sectors, with successful experience in building and managing media partnerships. - Demonstrated track record of independently planning and executing successful PR campaigns, product launches, or brand building projects in the Korean market. - Excellent project management skills: ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and coordinate cross-team collaboration effectively. - Proactive, creative, and solution-oriented; strong crisis management awareness and problem-solving abilities. - Legally eligible to work in South Korea; willing to work on-site in Seoul for long-term. - Familiarity with Korean market characteristics, consumer behavior, and media communication rules is a plus.
