Come and do the best and most exciting work of your career at Apple! DESCRIPTION We are currently seeking a PR Manager for our corporate communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the communications strategy and proactively managing activity with media and content creators to drive understanding and excitement around Apple Retail in the US and around the world. This role will also focus on increasing awareness of existing programs and broadening relationships with media and content creators on established and emerging platforms. The PR Manager will work daily with consumer, tech, business, and regional media as well as content creators across tech and lifestyle, manage new store openings, support product launches across Retail, develop momentum campaigns, and handle regular reactive media inquiries. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 7-10+ years experience in public relations, content creator relations, in-house or at a PR agency PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience developing and executing creative PR campaigns — including social-first campaigns — that drove meaningful impact and conveyed a clear understanding of specific audiences. Experience in media relations and a developed network of media contacts in creative, tech, design, and cultural platforms. Self-motivated, possessing a positive team-player attitude and a passion for social media, creative storytelling, culture, relationship building, consumer technology and the customer experience. Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization. Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. Analyses complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. Understands internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs. Successfully delivered creative PR campaigns that have created meaningful impact. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling pitches. Able to handle multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic environment across multiple time zones. Excellent project management and organizational skills, as well as superb attention to detail. Proven experience working on large-scale, international, time-critical projects. BS/BA or equivalent experience.
