What You’ll Do:
As a PN/HCA Theory Instructor, you will:
- Teach and mentor students in classroom settings, ensuring they meet program objectives and learning outcomes.
- Deliver engaging and practical instruction aligned with the curriculum.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback.
- Facilitate skill-building in areas such as post-operative care, IV therapy, and focused assessments.
- Guide students through theoretical learning, ensuring alignment with educational and professional standards.
- Collaborate with college staff to continuously improve curriculum and the student experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Active BCCNM license (LPN or RN) and a degree or diploma in a related field.
- Experience: At least two years of recent relevant experience.
- Teaching Mindset: A credential in adult education, such as enrollment in or completion of the PID program or an equivalent, is required.
- Team Player: A commitment to upholding college standards and contributing to program development.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):
- Teaching experience is an asset.
- Interest in innovative teaching methods and multi-modal education approaches.
