OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practical Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing practical assistance to individuals in an educational setting, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect. This position requires strong communication skills, a basic understanding of IT, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services. This is an ongoing role for the current academic year.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong verbal communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with students and other team members.
• Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes are desirable.
• A compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.

• Assist students with educational requirements, such as study plans, support with assessments and ensuring attendance with lectures and seminars.
• Develop good working relationships with each individual’s needs.
• Communicate effectively with students and other professionals to ensure a high standard of support is offered.
• Document where needed the student progress and pass on any concerns to the relevant person(s).
• Provide emotional support to enhance the well-being of students.
