Responsibilities

The Faculty of Health, Medicine, and Social Care is our largest faculty; with 400 staff serving nearly 5,000 students. Our faculty offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including doctoral level studies. All our courses are designed with students at their heart and are taught by our award-winning academics, with the benefit of high-end facilities which mirror real-life working environments
Practice placement is a key element in the training and development of our students to enable them to undertake work in the healthcare sector. This requires our Faculty to provide a first-class experience to our students, staff and other stakeholders.
This is your opportunity to join our Practice Team, providing effective and efficient administrative support relating to clinical practice placements and student lifecycle for the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care. Responsibilities will include processing quality assurance documentation, working with a range of stakeholders to ensure accuracy of student and placement information within the university placements database, monitor audit profiles and produce and distribute management information on a regular basis
With 2 A levels, or NVQ level 3 or equivalent. you will have previous administration experience and be confident using IT systems including Microsoft Office 365 products. You will be a team player who builds successful working relationships with colleagues. With a flexible approach to working, you will have a keen eye for detail as well as being highly organised and motivated. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude and good problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate can be based at the Chelmsford or Cambridge Campus, though the team are currently working remotely. This is a part time role working 29.5 hours per week between Monday & Friday.
