Lincoln Pediatric Group is a well-established, physician-owned pediatric practice dedicated to serving the families of Lincoln, Nebraska. Our large group includes 12 physicians and 7 APPs, all practicing in one location. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Three years of administrative experience in a health care setting; at least one year of practice management experience.
  • Experience in people management and exceptional time management skills are essential.
  • Experience with the independent preparation and analysis of practice financial statements and partnership accounting, including reviewing partner capital accounts and calculating partner compensation/distribution models.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Business Administration (MBA).
  • Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation.
  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience within a physician-owned group practice.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyzing market trends and developing proactive, data-driven strategies for practice growth and sustainability.
  • Excellent financial acumen, with the ability to interpret and explain complex financial data and translate it into clear, actionable insights for physician-owners.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor staff and build consensus among partners.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the managing partner & physician-partner board on long-range strategic planning and analyze market trends for growth opportunities, new service lines, and community partnerships.
  • Financial Stewardship: Assume full ownership of the practice’s financial health, including the timely and accurate preparation of all financial statements with the assistance of a strong in-house billing department and long standing CPA. Develop and manage annual operating and capital accounts, analyze performance, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance profitability.
  • Partnership Accounting: Manage partner capital accounts, and develop, model, and execute physician-partner compensation, draws, and profit-sharing distributions.
  • Operational Leadership: Provide executive leadership, mentorship, and direction to the APPs, departmental leads, and the Office Manager, who is responsible for daily operations, human resources, and staff supervision. Monitor key operational metrics to drive continuous process improvement and efficiency.
  • Compliance and Relations: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA, CMS). Serve as the primary liaison to external stakeholders, including hospital leadership, insurance payers, and legal/accounting firms.
