Practice Lead FI Germany (f/m/x)
Location: Frankfurt a.M. / Munich

For the position of Practice Lead FI Germany (f/m/x), we are looking for a new colleague (f/m/x) to join our team at our Frankfurt or Munich location as soon as possible.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination, management and underwriting of Financial Institutions risks with focus on the German financial market
  • Continuous development of the FI strategy for Germany as well as implementation of FI-DACH-strategy for Germany in cooperation with the Head of FI DACH
  • Responsible for budgeting and forecasting for the German FI portfolio
  • Continuous improvements and developments of FI underwriting processes and procedures
  • Establishing and expanding the German Broker and customer network
  • Product Development and implementation of new FI insurance solutions (FIDO, BBB, FIPI, IMI, PE)
  • Contact person for wording development and negotiations with the brokers
  • Responsible for growing the German FI portfolio (New Business)
  • Referral underwriter for Financial Institutions risks
  • Minimum of 20 % travel activity within Germany

Requirements:

  • Excellent university degree in law or economics (international degree preferred)
  • In-depth relevant experiences within Financial Institutions underwriting in the following areas of financial services: banking (Retail/Private/Investment Banking), insurance, private equity/Venture Capital, portfolio / fund management
  • Broad knowledge of the German financial and insurance market
  • Ability to work in a team, ability to grasp things quickly and high resilience as well as to cope with work under stress
  • Minimum first experience in (team) management
  • Fluent in German and English
