About the role (your why)
As the Practice Lead at Datacom, you will be responsible for overseeing the success of our sales practice, guiding strategic direction, and enhancing business performance. You will lead a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes continuous improvement and innovation.
Your role will involve closely working with stakeholders to understand client needs, develop strategic solutions that align with business objectives, and drive performance excellence within the practice.
Our office is based in Sydney. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!

What you’ll do

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, encouraging collaboration and innovation to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance practice performance and service delivery.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business challenges and drive solutions that meet their needs.
  • Ensure practices adhere to quality standards and best practices in delivery.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and report on practice performance to senior management.
  • Foster a culture of learning and development within the team.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the IT or technology sector
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into action
