The role | Te tūnga   This newly established role offers a rare opportunity to shape investigative practice across the Charities system. As Practice Leader Investigations – Charities, you will be the professional lead for Charities investigations, providing hands‑on practice leadership, expert advice, and quality assurance. Reporting to the Manager Investigations AML/CFT & Charities, your focus will be on lifting investigative standards and embedding best practice to ensure consistent, high‑quality, and legally robust work. You will lead investigative and evidence management standards, coach and mentor investigators through complex and high‑risk matters, and provide expert advice on investigative approach, evidential sufficiency, and enforcement options. Working closely with managers, legal partners, and senior leaders, you will support quality assurance and the ongoing development of tools, guidance, and capability across the team.
