Company Description Due to an internal promotion, we’re excited to offer a 12-month contract/secondment opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager to join our team at Greencross Burleigh Waters starting this November! Greencross Burleigh Waters is a large and well-equipped (4 consult room, 2 surgery theatres) purpose-built clinic located next to Petbarn and a stone’s throw from the Treetops Plaza, as well as plenty of café options for lunch! As well as a short 5-minute drive to the beautiful beaches. Our Nurse team consists of experienced and fully qualified nurses, and our outstandingly supportive Vet Director, Dr Josie has and a keen interest in Surgery & Ophthalmology! This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role that will see you: Managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic including stock management, people management and rostering, and maintaining client records Leading and developing our team and building a positive team culture Ensuring that monthly KPI’s are met Driving our business forward through creating and implementing local marketing initiatives Delivering outstanding service and care to all patients and owners Nursing duties as required; including training and mentoring nurses Your skills and experience will include: A Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent is desirable At least 2+ years’ experience in a Practice Manager or Head Nurse/2IC role Strong leadership and team building skills, with the ability to provide coaching for team members An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures Great communication and customer service skills A friendly, team player attitude Strong business acumen and organisational skills Experience with Rx Works preferred but not essential If this sounds like you, Apply Now! Responsibilities
