We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of HESA Medical Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice, managing staff, and supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in practice management (Primarycare/GP Surgery).
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Sound knowledge of HR, finance, and compliance processes.
• Experience with clinical systems (EMIS knowledge essential).
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the practice team.
• Oversee all aspects of practice management including HR, finance, IT, compliance, and premises management.
• Ensure the practice remains compliant with CQC and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage recruitment, training, and performance of staff, fostering a supportive and efficient working environment.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and service delivery.
• Monitor and manage budgets, contracts, and resources effectively.
• Lead on IT systems development and data quality, ensuring the practice maximises use of clinical systems (EMIS).
• Liaise with external organisations including NHS bodies, local healthcare providers, and suppliers.
