  • Demonstrable track record of conducting audits and driving quality improvements

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Practice Manager is responsible for driving positive, high standard care
practices across services. You will ensure compliance with regulatory
requirements, lead quality audits, supervise staff, and support the Clinical Lead
in maintaining and improving service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate daily operations during assigned shifts, promoting person-centred, safe, and effective care
  • Participate in the on-call rota (additional pay applies) to provide out-of-hours support and decision making
  • Undertake regular one-to-one supervisions and performance reviews with care staff
  • Plan, conduct, and report on internal audits (quality, health & safety, documentation)
  • Monitor compliance with CQC, Ofsted, GDPR, and all relevant legislation and guidance
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Lead on service improvement projects, training initiatives, and policy updates
  • Maintain accurate records, including duty logs, incident reports, and compliance checklists
  • Escalate risks or non conformities promptly and coordinate corrective actions
  • Cover any other reasonable tasks to meet the needs of the service
