PRACTICE MANAGER – GP SURGERY (GLASNEVIN, NORTH DUBLIN)

A well-established GP practice in the Glasnevin area is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient running of the surgery.
The successful candidate will work closely with the GPs, nursing team, and administrative staff to ensure the practice operates effectively, complies with healthcare regulations, and provides excellent support to patients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and support the administrative and reception teams.
  • Manage the daily workflow and operational systems within the practice.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant healthcare and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee HR functions including recruitment, staff training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Manage financial processes such as payroll, budgets, and reporting.
  • Support ongoing service improvements and practice development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for patients, staff, and external stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management role within a busy GP or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish healthcare systems and general practice operations.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Socrates software and MS Office is is must.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A relevant qualification in Practice Management is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €15.00-€20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
