Golborne Medical Centre is aiming to recruit a full time Practice Manager who has extensive experience of human resources and managing teams. The Practice Manager will be responsible for overseeing the success of the practice through knowledge of its finances, operations, its people and its governance. The post holder will be responsible for developing the strategy with the partners and for agreeing annual plans and related action plans for people, finance and partnership working. This role is pivotal in delivering all the services required by us under our contract with NHS England and NWL ICB.
The practice manager will provide strategic leadership to the overall management team and is responsible for ensuring managerial cohesion in line with the strategy and business plan and for providing guidance to the partners and managers in ensuring all elements of the business meet their aims in relation to quality, statutory obligations, financial stability and excellent patient service. The post holder will report directly to the Partners. The post holder will also provide day-to-day support to the Partners regarding the management of quality, risk, incidents and complaints, and line manage the salaried GPs, Allied Healthcare Professionals (e.g. Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Pharmacists, Physician Associates, GP Assistants)
