The Role
We are looking for a full-time Practice Nurse Manager to join our Brookvale medical centre. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing daily treatment room operations and nursing services.
You’ll lead and support a dedicated team of nurses to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care. Working closely with the Practice Manager and General Practitioners, you’ll coordinate clinical services, manage workflow and resources, and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with leadership skills, a passion for primary health care, and a commitment to delivering efficient and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll manage clinical operations, support your team’s development, and work closely with GPs to deliver high-quality patient care:

  • Provide clinical leadership and effective management to a team of nurses
  • Ensure the treatment room is run efficiently and safely with appropriate staffing
  • Coach, train and mentor the nursing team to consistently deliver best-practice care
  • Support GPs with health assessments, care plans and chronic disease management
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to understand key performance drivers and manage team resources effectively

The Successful Candidate

We’re looking for a confident and compassionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting. You’ll bring a strong nursing foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring others:

  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience in a General Practice or primary health care setting
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A people-first, personable approach to patient and team care
