Practice Nurse
Thomas Street Family Medical Clinic is seeking an energetic, friendly and efficient team player to join the nursing team.
Our Medical Centre has a friendly and supportive environment. Working hours include weekdays between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for nurses to enjoy a work life balance, build rapport with patients and also enjoy on site education and free parking.

The position would involve

• Immunisations
• Wound care, including minor procedures
• Infection control procedures
• Assisting with EPC items including Annual health Assessments
• Patient education
• Assisting and maintaining eHealth records
• General nursing support/ triage of walk in patients

General Practice experience preferred but not essential. However the willingness to learn, be proactive and to adapt is necessary. Both on site and professional training will be provided as required.

You will

• be comfortable in a fully computerised environment and be able to multi-task.
• have a natural ability to communicate and liaise with patients, colleagues and doctors in a friendly and caring manner.
