JOB OVERVIEW

Kingston GP Chambers, the GP federation which supports twenty member GP practices across the borough of Kingston are delighted to be supporting Sunray Surgery in the recruitment of a new practice nurse.
Sunray Surgery were acquired by Kingston GP Chambers on 1st April 2023. The surgery works hard to ensure an excellent level of patient care is delivered to 5,000 registered patients. The surgery is based in close proximity to Tolworth station, and the A3.
The surgery have ambitious plans to grow following redevelopment of the surrounding area. In addition, the practice has the benefit of on-site parking as well as designated free parking on surrounding roads and bike storage.
Sunray have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled nurse to join and provide their expertise to the clinical team. The successful post-holder will ideally work three - four sessions across two days per week.
This role is open already qualified practice nurses and offers flexibility of working a number of shift patterns depending on the successful candidates availability

SKILLS:

  • Essential
  • Registered General Nurse (Currently registered with the NMC)
  • Proven ability to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of own clinical practice.
  • Ability to assess and manage patient risk effectively and safely
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Able to build effective working relationships at all levels
  • IT skills with the use of EMIS highly desirable
  • Time management skills
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: From £22.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
