Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and flexible Locum Practice Nurse to join our friendly team in Faygate RH12. This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time or flexible work between 1 and 3 days per week.
You will be providing essential treatment room services, working closely with GPs and the wider primary care team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • All treatment room duties including:
  • Wound care and dressings
  • Immunisations and vaccinations (including travel where required)
  • Cervical cytology (smears)
  • Chronic disease monitoring (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
  • Injections (B12, contraception, etc.)
  • ECGs and phlebotomy
  • NHS health checks
  • Patient education and health promotion
  • Accurate documentation and use of clinical systems (e.g. EMIS/SystmOne)

Requirements

  • NMC Registered Nurse with current PIN
  • Recent experience in a GP practice setting essential
  • Confident in all treatment room procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
