Overview
IU Health | Practice Operations Specialist
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with a hybrid schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required

• Minimum 1-2 years professional office experience (preferably healthcare related), and familiarity with health care organizations required. Masters of Health Administration or Masters of Business Administration may be accepted in lieu of experience.
• Accounting, Business, Management, Science or Health Administration concentration preferred.

It helps improve patient access, streamline administrative processes, and align daily activities with strategic goals. Ideal for problem-solvers and relationship-builders, the role involves monitoring budgets, implementing policies, managing projects, and collaborating with management and physicians. It also provides interim managerial support when needed and reports to the Vice Chair of Clinical and Academic Administration- Department of Medicine.
