Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Starship Community team are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic senior dietitian to fulfil the Practice Supervisor role.
If you are self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to work autonomously and would like to contribute to the leadership and functioning of this team and their commitment to a quality service, we would love to hear from you!

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a New Zealand Registered Dietitian, a dietitian prescriber with a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • Have at least five years full time experience in a paediatric role
  • Provide clincial leadership and expertise to the dietetics team, multidisciplinary colleagues and other professionals
  • Be expected to provide optimal nutritional care for babies, children and adolescent inpatients and outpatients
  • Have a proven track record as an excellent team worker, clinical experience in the acute care setting and good time management
  • Be responsible for the review and further development of local dietetic guidelines that inform care
  • You will have experience with quality improvement work at a local or regional level
  • Have mentoring or clinical supervision experienc
