The Practice Supervisor leads and fosters a high-performance culture and ensures optimal daily operations of a clinical site(s). This includes, but is not limited to patient access, scheduling, insurance precertification, referral management, resource utilization, charge capture, service quality, staffing, compliance with accreditation and regulatory agencies (e.g., The Joint Commission), and clinical standards of care. The Practice Supervisor must have an intense commitment to patient and family centered care. The Practice Supervisor will provide administrative direction and coordination of policies, procedures, and programs. This position leads and functions as part of the site-based leadership team in support of, and responsible for all clinic operations. Sites currently hiring: Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery (Hours 8AM - 4:30PM) Plastic Surgery is located at Water Tower Hill, Colchester Vermont. Neurosurgery is located at UVMMC Main Campus, ACC. EDUCATION: Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience required. Experience in a clinical setting preferred. PLEASE NOTE: Some Practice Supervisor positions have on-site parking, others require shuttling from off-site lots (including any at the main campus/ACC). For our Family Medicine and Adult Primary Care locations there is a weekend coverage component for supervisors, but it is minimal. Once every 9 weeks, supervisors need to be available for meetings and to support the clinic for questions.
