We’re looking for a Practitioner Development Manager to lead the design and delivery of development programs for our Dental Practitioners across a large, distributed national network. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who loves building practical learning programs, navigating complex healthcare environments, and turning strategy into real outcomes. You’ll own our end-to-end practitioner development ecosystem – from CPD and mentoring to graduate programs, conferences and engagement initiatives – while leading a small team and partnering closely with clinical and executive leaders. What You’ll Be Doing Lead practitioner development programs end-to-end, including: CPD strategy and compliance (AHPRA-aligned) Annual Practitioner Conference (concept to delivery) Graduate Dentist Program and early-career pathways Mentoring programs, study groups and referral initiatives Practitioner engagement surveys and insights Design, build and improve programs by: Planning and delivering learning initiatives from concept through execution Creating scalable, cost-effective solutions using existing resources Applying strong project and change management discipline Ensuring consistent, high-quality practitioner experiences across all locations Partner across the business, working closely with: Clinical leaders and practitioners Operations, Marketing, Finance, IT and Talent teams External providers, speakers, universities and CPD partners Own governance, budget and insights, including: Program governance, reporting and executive dashboards Budget ownership, vendor management and cost optimisation Data-driven evaluation of impact, participation and ROI Lead and develop your team, with one direct report supporting program coordination and delivery. About You You’re a seasoned Learning & Development or Practitioner Development leader who understands how to deliver development programs in complex, healthcare or professional services environments. You’ll likely bring: 5–8+ years’ experience in L&D, practitioner development, talent or clinical education Proven experience delivering learning programs in a distributed healthcare network Strong project and change management capability Confidence influencing senior stakeholders without formal authority A “builder” mindset – resourceful, pragmatic and commercially aware Experience managing budgets, vendors and external partners Backgrounds from GP, allied health, veterinary, pharmacy or other healthcare networks will be highly regarded.
