The post holder will contribute to the delivery of service provision across all treatment pathways including outpatients, the enhanced treatment team, and flexibly, when needed, day care. They will be joining the service during an exciting period of service development and transformation with the scope to therefore develop specialisms within the field. They will receive clinical supervision from AEDS Principal Clinical Psychologist and will work closely with AEDS psychological therapies team.
The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical supervision for more junior members of staff (qualified and trainees).
The post holder will also be expected to provide psychological assessments, formulations, therapeutic interventions (individual and group), and consultation to support people with complex presentations and needs; this is with a view to ensuring soon access to assessment and evidence based psychological therapy. There is also an expectation to contribute to the generic work of the team to support with optimising patient care where needed.
