Efficiency of the Pre-Operative Assessment (POA) pathway (e.g. minimisation of on the day cancellation in theatre)
- Excellent nursing care and health promotion
- Liaison with secondary and primary care
- Well-led and supported team
- Effective controls in the maintenance of budget
- Implementation of nursing strategy and supporting the Trust/Division Objectives(implementation of new safety flows)
- Enhance patients experience by ensuring follow up calls are made for all elective surgical discharges within the pathway time frame agreement
- Seeks continuous stakeholder input in order to identify growth opportunities and developments
