Banner University Medical Group is thriving and actively seeking two experienced Nurse Practitioners to join the stable, structured, and fast-paced Pre-Anesthesia Clinic team in Tucson, Arizona.
The ideal candidate has a strong clinical understanding of all organ systems while encompassing excellent people skills, strong physical diagnostic skills, strong intrapersonal skills, excellent bedside manner, aptitude for service recovery, effective listening, multidisciplinary collaboration, consultation, and quality improvement skills. This position is also open to experienced NP and highly motivated graduating nurse practitioners interested in pre-anesthesia care.
The selected individuals will practice in-person in an innovative new role that entails thoroughly understanding pre-anesthesia and preparing a variety of pre-surgical patients for safe surgery by completing their physical health assessment screening exam, trigger consults/lab work, and effectively communicate with patient’s anesthesiologist.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Nurse Practitioner Board Certification is required
• 3+ years of Nurse Practitioner Experience is required
• Prior experience in pharmacology, cardiovascular, or surgery is preferred, but not required
  Work Schedule: M-F | 5-Day, 8-Hour Shifts | No Call, No Weekend, No Evenings, No Holidays
